Chelsea future plans

Long-term transfer strategy of Chelsea

Chelsea is looking forward to the future with Armando Broja at the lead. Thomas Tuchel loaned the talented forward to Southampton at the start of the season in order for him to gain valuable Premier League first-team experience.

And under Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Albanian has made an impression, scored seven goals and added one assist in 19 games across all competitions.

His second-half goal in the Saints’ 4-1 home victory over Brentford showcased all of his superb qualities, as he used his excellent pace to sprint past the Bees’ defence before sliding his effort beneath the goalkeeper.

While he is highly regarded at Chelsea’s youth, his only first-team appearance for the west Londoners was a four-minute cameo in a 4-0 win over Everton in March 2020.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer insider, reports that the Albanian striker is in the Blues’ long-term plans.
